Maternity Care

The Antenatal clinic is on Thursday by appointment, and this clinic is for patients wishing to give birth in Lewisham Hospital only.  Care in pregnancy is usually shared by the hospital and your own doctor.  Most of your antenatal care will be done in the Practice by the doctor and midwife.  Antenatal classes for parents are arranged through the health visitor.  The doctor does not undertake care of patients who wish to have a home delivery.
